When we arrived we were greeted with an empty front desk and a sign saying that the elevator was not working. When someone got to the desk we asked for a first floor room and of course they were all booked. We got a second floor room and made multiple trips up the stairs with luggage. Once in the room we tried to turn the temperature down but the thermostat was dead. The exhaust fan in the bathroom did not work. The chair for the desk was shredded. The shear curtains were torn. We went back to the front desk. There was a sign saying to dial a number on the phone to call a desk clerk but someone came out from the back just then. We told the clerk about our room and she did offer to move us but it would have involved luggage and stairs again. I just asked to get another chair and the reply was “all our chairs are like that “. I asked for some consideration on the bill. She said she would talk to her manager but we never heard back.
