The property and hotel staff were great no issues. However my experience with the website and customer service organization (888 792 9163) was terrible. I needed to make a change in the reservation. The customer service line was no help. I felt I was taken advantage of as a consumer. I am unlikely to use the Hilton website in the future. Very disappointing.
Topeka is the half way point on our trips from our home in Texas and our destination in Minnesota. We discovered Homewood Inn and Suites when our son and his family were travelling with us and they booked a two bedroom suite. It was perfect! Ever since, even when it's just the two of us, we've stayed overnight at the Homewood Inn and Suites on the way up or back or both because it's always a really nice room, clean, quiet, roomy and the beds are comfy.
We come here every year on the way to Colorado and enjoy it every time. Very nice hotel with good service, comfortable beds, pool and breakfast are all great.
