A Commodious Room with a Balcony that puts you on the Beach!
Having never been to Rehoboth beach my family was clueless on everything! I Googled “beachfront hotels” and chose the Henlopen on price. (Very affordable). What a pleasant surprise! Such easy access to the beach, 20 steps if that! Easy check in, didn’t even have to move the vehicle as we could walk everywhere. Front desk workers were pleasant and very helpful with any questions. Our room was cleaned everyday with fresh towels. My only reason for giving a four instead of five was parking is it’s very tight in the garage and my husband has a larger truck. Cars were fine. All in all don’t be afraid to book this hotel! We’re going back!
View from the balcony was great. Furniture is getting old, worn. Drawer sticking. Toilet was either dirty on the bottom of bowl or the porcelain was worn. Shower needs bleach.
Everything was great with only one problem. There’s no weather stripping on the door and when it’s windy it sounds like someone is banging on the door to get in. I had to prop a chair against it. But the view from the room is perfect. Would stay again.

Location and staff were perfect!
We had everything we needed in the room. It met our needs.
Really love this hotel only issue was my truck is too tall for the garage but street parking was still free at the time so no big deal.

The room had two marvelous views. Clean and bright. Loved the Keurig cups in the room. (Toilet tissue could be stronger.) Victoria at the check in desk couldn’t have been sweeter or more helpful.
The hotel is beautiful. Victoria is a great asset to your front lobby. Attentive and helpful. Listening skills are great!
Room was very clean and maintained with everything we needed! Staff was professional. Parking on site is a plus.
The location of this hotel was perfect! The hotel could use renovations as many things in the room were broken or run down. The event space on the 8th floor was BEAUTIFUL! It’s on okay stay but needs updates!
