"Underwhelming"

I booked this hotel because I was told it was the Courtyard by Marriott. When we arrived the rigged banner of the hotel Country Inn. Once we arrived at the check in desk I inquired about the name. The hotel changed hands last November and they haven't got the proper signage. Then we were told the pool was not operational. That was very disappointing. When you drive for five hours relaxing in the pool is paramount. The front desk is very poorly mand. The room we reserved was somewhat nice but the trash truck right outside our window Banging the dumpster was to much. I took pictures of the bath tub it was stained and the drain could have cut my feet. We have stayed at every hotel in Altoona and they all are bad.

The two women at the front desk were very nice and professional.

Hotel was clean, employees were friendly especially Nick at the front desk. I have stayed there numerous times over the years and will continue to do so.
