The Best Western Plus Franciscan Square Inn was a wonderful place to stay. Several things made it so. The staff from check in to check out were pleasant, personable and professional. I want to note especially Bridget, who was in charge of the morning breakfasts. The food was delicious and this offering is a reason why I will return, because it sets you apart. Bridget was not readily noticeable, but she unobtrusively kept watch on the buffet and a few times did small sweepings of the floor. One day I overheard her giving instructions to another staff taking over for her and she was excellent in doing so. A little later I heard a conversation between two employees that was complimentary and full of good will. The room's amenities and the bed were very good. The hair dryer, iron and ironing board are, again, reasons I will return. The location was perfect. Thank you for a wonderful place to come when travelling.
The room was clean. The breakfast was very nice in the area was very clean. Good experience overall.
A beautiful location and a very nice hotel. Room was very clean and the continental breakfast was very good. A nice selection and the food was hot and tasted good. We really liked the convenience of three restaurants being right there on the plaza with the hotel. And Franciscan University is literally across the street.
Everyone I had contact with couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. From front desk staff to housekeeping, they were knowledgeable, kind, helpful, with a cheery attitude. Was especially impressed that they helped me with luggage on arrival and on departure. (I'm a senior with some recent health problems which causes shortness of breath).

This hotel is dirty and the staff could care less. I highly recommend getting an airbnb in this area.
We only stayed one night and everything was fantastic. The staff at the front desk were friendly and helpful. We were there to check out the Nutcracker display downtown. The gentleman gave us great directions. The rooms were clean and looked modern, they even had built in USB outlets on the inside room clock. The breakfast buffet was typical. The location was great, a pizza place, a submarine sandwich place and an Irish pub were all within feet of the lobby. We had the added bonus of enjoying The Rink, an ice skating rink between the restaurants. My nephew got to ice skate for the first time.
Clean, quiet, close to everything. Would stay again.
The staff, no matter what the shift, or job were kind, compassionate and very caring. Everything we needed in close proximity and I was able to heal and enjoy the coffee and hot chocolate treats!

I found the room to be clean, the shower temperature comfortable, the breakfast delicious and the staff very friendly and accommodating. Dave and his staff were very helpful in printing a document for me. I would certainly stay there again and recommend this hotel to others.
