Check in was good and the newly renovated room was heavenly. Enjoyed my stay.
The hotel was very comfortable. My husband and I brought our granddaughter to the area to visit colleges, and the room worked well for the three of us—providing enough space and privacy for everyone.
We were in town for the weekend to attend a basketball tournament. The hotel itself was nice. All the staff we came into contact with were nice and helpful. The room was clean. The soap dispenser that is attached to the wall was about to fall out of the wall. You couldn't just pump the lotion, you had to be sure to hold the bottle because it was just handing on. Breakfast left something to be desired. The eggs from the buffet were very plastic like. We got in line to have a fresh omlette made, but it was taking so long we got out of line. Having to pay to park in a hotel that I just paid over $400 to stay at was very off putting. Several of our other team mates were staying at different hotels and they did not charge parking. I could understand charging for parking if you didn't stay there and were just leaving your car.
