I wish I were exaggerating but I waited 45 minutes to check in. Which you couldn’t park until you checked in. People were missing their events. There was only one worker and he said he had no one to help. Half the hotel was under construction and there were no barricades or signs or anything. Also our TV didn’t work. At 350 a night, I was horrified.
The Holiday Inn Express South Side was the perfect spot for us. Close to to Oakland, town and the expressway. It’s under renovation and everything in our room was new and up to date. Very pleased with our experience including the breakfast bar. We were very pleased with our stay.
Saleema, who was working at the desk was wonderful! Had an issue that was my fault. She worked over 1/2 horses to fix my mistake. She was a saint. Thank you Saleema!

Ordered king bed and got two doubles, that was all that was bad.
