The hotel was in great shape and very well decorated. Clean, quiet and special.

The hotel staff was very very nice the building itself needs a lot of improvements, wallpaper is peeling, towels were stained, tiles missing or broken in the lobby. They didn’t have coffee in the rooms If you stayed more than one night. I asked staff and they said their coffee order was missed. Overall it was a fun trip but they need to sink some money into their building.

Received excellent service from staff. Hotel needs updating and repairs. Reopen restaurant. Provide morning breakfast.
Room not ready at 4pm check in time, didn't receive the call we were promised when the Room was ready,no streaming pressure in the shower head, dirty table next to sink in kitchen area, jacuzzi jets not working and brown matter floating in the jacuzzi area. After being out in Ocean shores all day,came back to my room not cleaned or dirty towels replaced. When I ask the desk help why our room was not cleaned, she said we don't clean rooms unless you ask for it to be clean. No communication about that at check in and no signs to confirm that policy. I didn't have a do not disturb sign on the door, they just didn't clean the room. Jacuzzi unsanitary and very poor communication.
Excellent Place to stay.
The pool and hot tub area need a detailed cleaning. The hot tub had an excessive amount of chlorine, but it was still dirty with lots of hair floating around, indicating that the filter isn't cleaning it properly. The pool wasn't any better. The restaurant was closed for all meals and the patio and windows were extremely dirty with bird poop. My husband booked this room for my daughter and me, but upon arrival, I was told that the room was overbooked. I was then offered an upgrade, which was nice, but the check in clerk was somewhat rude about it, making it seem like it was somehow my fault. It was clear that she was overwhelmed working by herself and dealing with patrons, but it affected her customer service.This is one of the only place with a pool so we like to stay here however I am not sure we will be visiting again.
