This hotel is older. The floor had a divot in it. It was definitely clean but a boiler had gone out. When we arrived we were told we would only have warm water and no hot water. This was untrue. We only had cold water we left after the first night we went into the office and explained that it is cold water. The office refused to reimburse us the second night. I do not think that is unreasonable to expect to be reimbursed for a day that we are not going to stay. Our reservation was for two days. I did not ask for a reservation for the first night since we did stay overnight, but we could not shower, unacceptable and irresponsible behavior of this hotel.
The carpet is worn and torn. Embedded in the carpet was an old fishing hook, indicating the room lacked thorough cleaning. Our room was located on the ground floor near the elevator and was very noisy.
