The room was clean and appealing. The staff was friendly and helpful.
I made a reservation for a three night stay. Arrived earlier than expected so I checked in one day early. The clerk couldn't find my reservation at first but then said she located it and checked us in. We had prepaid for the three night stay and a new charge appeared on my card I assumed for the extra night. We arrived back at our hotel room and discovered that all of our personal belongings had been taken by the hotel. Upon going to the office we were informed that their records showed that we should have checked out that morning therefore they gathered up our personal belongings and tossed anything perishable. The clerk got his boss on the phone and even though I was showing the clerk my phone showing check out to be the next day it didn't matter. We were given our belongings in a laundry cart and told there was nothing he could do. I have never been so humiliated. I had paid for the three nights and they had a credit card hold for over $200 that had been authorized yet I was packed up and sent off like I didn't matter. Will never stay there again and believe that I should be compensated or at the very least apologized to.
