Carlsbad By The Sea Hotel is located just steps away from Carlsbad Premium Outlets and a short walk from the Flower Fields of Carlsbad.
This hotel has a great central location for all the surrounding areas, we went with a group of friends and asked to to be together when we booked but were not able to which didn’t work out well because we had young kids. There was also a lot of remodeling going on and we were woken up every morning really early, the pool area is amazing though! Overall not a horrible experience but could have been better. I would recommend it just make sure there is no remodeling going on.

We stayed here for our wedding at the Windmill so the location was perfect. The room was big but maybe a little sparse, could fit a couple chairs and tables to make better use of the space. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The staff was very helpful and we would stay again.
Breakfast is not included but is available at the Windmill Food Hall and Carlsbad Outlets.

We chose this hotel for the closeness to Legoland and the free shuttle. The hotel is in a great area and the shuttle service was great!
Front desk people Great the looks like head of the bunch cleaning lady asked her if she could ask the lady’s to remove the used towels from the room she said yes asked what room but didn’t get done so that was not good.
