Front desk staff person checked us in quickly and asked us each time he saw us if we needed anything. The pool was very clean. The hot tub was very nice. The room was clean. The breakfast was nice and included waffles, fruit, yogurt and hard boiled eggs, etc. All very tasty. Checkout was easy and done conveniently on my phone via an email from Super 8. Parking was very convenient to our room. Overall, a very good experience.
This has to be the best experience we have had at a Super 8. or any other place recently. Clean, quiet, friendly. Pool hours 24/7 with adult only hours. Because we have a dog when we travel, usually we are assigned a "dog room" which is frequently sub standard. NOT at the Super 8 in Wausau, WI. OUR ROOM THERE was a great example of comfort, security and cleanliness. When we go to Wausau again, we will definitely stay at this location.
