I had no idea that when I called to make reservations at the Molly Pitcher that I was booking with a third party. The room they gave me for over $500.00 was a disgrace and not what I booked. Knowing something was wrong, I called the hotel manager. After a a conversation, I was told this was a common complaint and problem. She did change my room. Not what I wanted, but a nice room. I heard the room that I was given was a $300.00 room and Expedia charges over 500.00. That is horrible. Why would anyone pay that and not go through the Molly Pitcher. This was so deceitful not being told…a scam. This evening, my grandchildren were hungry, so I called for a room service snack. They would only bring up dinner, whoch we had already. We just wanted two boxes of ceral and milk. I was told no although I believe that could have been delivered. We didn’t ask that they make eggs or pancakes. I do come here twice a year and was very disappointed this time.
Great location, wonderful and inviting lobby. Unfortunately, the guestrooms are very small and outdated. Based on price of rooms, quality and overall experience was poor.

Our Stay
The entry hall is beautiful, the restaurant and bar very nice and comfortable with a beautiful view, the single rooms are very small and badly in need of paint but comfortable and clean which is most important. I could not figure out how to close the shade which was a little weird but I needed water and someone brought it to me at midnight. Very appreciated.
A quick overnight stay at the renowned Molly Pitcher Inn in Red Bank was "ok." The public areas are beautiful, however our room on the first floor was, in my opinion, a bit outdated for a $300+ price tag off season.
Pretty room with a view, Great food, Beautiful location and lovely staff.
Everyone at the hotel was very accommodating, I had a one year old and had lots of requests! Super nice!

When I made the reservation I requested a King bed. We got a queen. No refrigerator for our food we brought. Given the cost of the room, the accommodations were substandard.
