The cool thing about Candlewood Suites Knoxville Airport-Alcoa is that it offers a variety of amenities including a bar/lounge, gym, pool, and a complimentary airport shuttle.
Reason for booking Candlewood Suites room for a short night stay was it promised a 24 hour shuttle to the airport. They were told that we needed to leave for the airport at 2:45 am and they said ok. At 2:40 we asked the desk clerk for the shuttle and se said that he would call for the shuttle, however the person that was to bring the shuttle would not answer their phone even though they were called multiple times. At 3:15 we called for an Uber which arrived 6 minutes later and they took us to the airport. Without the promise of the 24 hour shuttle shuttle we wouldn’t have stayed as the $171 cost for less three 1/2 hours stay was ridiculous. shuttle wasn’t in operation.
