"Saggy bed, brick pillows and lacking natural light."
Overall Score1.0/ 5
CONS: The number one reason we use hotels is for sleep so this place gets only one star. These were the worst beds I have ever encountered at a hotel room so saggy. If I slept on my back, my body would sag down and my shoulders would collapse toward each other. If I slept on my stomach, my midsection would sag down and arch my back. If I slept on my side, my hips would sag down and tweak my back. I am a healthy, active, young adult and do not have a bad back these beds just suck! The pillows were extremely thick and like bricks, so our heads would tilt severely upwards and cause neck pain if we tried to use them. I ended up using a towel as a pillow, which was bad but less uncomfortable than the pillows. My husband and I woke up in pain each day and were exhausted from lack of sleep the last thing we needed with two small children. Also, we probably got unlucky with the room they gave us but we had a one bedroom that was the interior corner of the U shaped building and thus had a diagonal wall and the room was very awkwardly shaped. Plus there was almost no natural light, only one window that opened and a very bad view of mostly walls. My sister had a gorgeous huge two bedroom with an awesome view and balcony, but beware that if you book a one bedroom you may get crammed into a small, awkwardly spaced room with no view. Our bathroom door was falling off the hinges but they had a guy come repair it after I called. The bathroom door was also dirty upon arrival (used contact lens and hair). They advertise that there is a 24 hour front desk but that is really at the hotel across the street. These are condos, NOT a hotel, which I would not have booked if I had realized. Hotels generally take great care of their properties, have nice beds, two pillow options, etc., whereas with condos it is hit or miss. This was a miss. PROS: They have a nice hot tub. It's also close to the village, though you have to cross the main street.
