We made our reservation for college drop off in Amherst. We arrived in the evening and found the hotel closed for business. We had to scramble for a last minute reservation and luckily found one 40 minutes away.

We love coming here whenever we're in Northampton, It's quiet, clean and charming. It's convenient to walking or driving to the Main St area and beyond. The front desk was especially courteous and helpful. Highly recommended.

Upon arrival we noticed that the Inn was under total renovation. There was no comfort/ peaceful experience. The Manager stated that the reservation person @ Hotel planner / Expedia knew and should have mentioned it. I asked to cancel the visit and we would find a place locally where we could enjoy the weekend. There was no refunding available ! We left the next morning. Unfortunately, in the future I will book my reservations directly with a Hotel. Regards, Ralph Martin.
