Called ahead probably an hour before we arrived just to make sure they had rooms and the pool was open. I show up and the pool isn?t even filled so we had no choice but try another hotel because we had two small kids and that?s all they wanted to do. I tried to cancel the reservations right there at the front desk and she refused. She didn?t even explain the policy to me she just said you are going to get charged for both rooms for both nights. I called two hours before and she couldn?t cancel the charge???? The worst experience Iv ever had at any hotel. AmericInn is the last place I tell anyone to stay and we travel and lot for baseball and softball tournaments. So not only did they loose our business but about 20 other families involved.

Property Description

The AmericInn Elkhorn hotel is conveniently located in Elkhorn, Wisconsin a small town founded in 1837 with unique shops and beautiful rustic buildings and streets. The town is a bustling area in the summer with Lake Geneva thriving nearby, with water sports on the lake and many things to do. This area brings people here from all over the U.S. with many things to do in the winter: skiing at Alpine Valley and Wilmot Mountain and the many snowmobile trails throughout the vast area.
