We made our reservation by phone for a two day getaway. I specified that we were traveling with a dog. I asked the operator to make sure our rate included our dog. When we arrived and checked in, I did not mention the dog because the reservation operator assured me our dog was included in the price. When I came in with my dog the person at the desk called me out in the middle of the hotel and said I didn’t tell her I had a dog. I told her I thought she knew because I told them when I made the reservation. She then proceeded to change our reservation and charge us extra for our dog. We also were not able to get the room that we had reserved. Needless to say no one cared that I felt like I was being ripped off. That will definitely be our last stay there.
